Mission Statement
The Information Systems Department is responsible for providing development, maintenance, training and oversight of the Town's computer and information systems. This includes supporting 115 users, hardware and software, GIS, the web page, phone system and the Town's wide area network.
The Town of Falmouth's computer environment consists of:
• HP Blade Servers running VMWare
• 4 Citrix Servers
• 1 Exchange Server
• 1 Linux Server
These servers process the day to day activity of all the departments at Town Hall, Police, Fire, Public Works, and Wastewater. All the above systems are connected in a LAN & WAN environment, allowing information to be shared over a Fiber and cable connection.
