VIEW ON-DEMAND VIDEO (View Past Meetings & Events Online)

Starting from April 2009

Starting April 7th 2009 all televised meetings will be available On Demand with an indexed agenda. (Zoning Board Meetings will be available for On-Demand only). Once a meeting is available online you will be able to click on an agenda item and go directly to that point in the video.

Other special meetings, events and educational videos will be placed in the ON-DEMAND section as well.

We broadcast (1) Planning Board , (1) School Board and (2) Town Council meetings each month. The most recent meeting is rebroadcast each night at 7pm until the next Live meeting is held. Then that meeting is rebroadcast each night at 7pm. The only exception is the LIVE broadcast of the Planning Board Meeting which starts at 6:30pm. It is usually held on the 1st Tuesday of the Month. Check the Upcoming Events Calendar on the Front page of the web site for meeting dates & times.

FCT Channel 2 is a community access station located at the Falmouth Town Hall in Falmouth, Maine. Falmouth holds a Franchise Agreement with Time Warner Cable that provides fees to the town to run the local cable access channel.

FCT Channel 2 is a Public Access, Governmental, and Educational facility and covers many events that take place in the Town of Falmouth. The core of our programming consists of local governmental and school meetings, special school events, and a message board that runs community service announcements.

Contribute to our message board

Our message board is composed of slides, each playing for about 12 seconds. The result is a slideshow on television that gives viewers an idea of what is going on around Falmouth. The fastest way to get your slide on the message board is to send us a Power Point slide. (Make sure it can be read in 12 seconds!)

A .JPG of your slide can be sent. Slides have to be in the jpeg format.They should be 720 x 540 pixels

We can take text and make a slide for you, but unformatted text spends significantly more time in our "to-do" box than something ready for television. Paper copies of announcements for our message board should be mailed to:

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I can't find FCT Channel 2 in my channel lineup. What gives?

A: FCT Channel 2 is channel 2 for Time Warner cable subscribers who live in Falmouth only. It does not come over the air nor will satellite or other cable subscribers be able to receive it.

Q: How can I get my community event taped for television?

A: Sometimes someone from FCT Channel 2 will be able to come to your location and tape the event. However, often the case is that you must record the event yourself and submit it to us for it to go on the air.
