Faith was elected to the Council in 2010. A native Mainer, Faith graduated from Winslow High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in Music and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Maine. Faith became a Falmouth summer resident in 1967 and a permanent resident in 1997.
Faith taught 34 years in Falmouth where she served in many capacities including Music Department Coordinator, Support Teams, Accreditation, School Improvement, Scheduling and Curriculum. She was also part of the Falmouth Education Association (FEA) where she served as President and Negotiations Chair. Faith has served on and chaired the Maine Education Association (MEA) Special Services and By-Laws Committees and was a member of the Representative Assembly.
Faith continues to perform with and occasionally direct various community bands, orchestras, choruses and theaters. Faith’s extensive community involvement includes past President of the Friends of the Falmouth Memorial Library where she received the Russell Award for Community Service; Chair of the Falmouth Parks and Community Programs Advisory Committee; and membership on the Falmouth Board of Voter Registration Appeals. Faith was also selected as Falmouth’s Citizen of the Year in 2007.
Faith is married to Erlon and they have two sons and four grandchildren.
