Chris was elected to the Council in 2011. A native Mainer, Chris graduated from Lewiston High School and received a Bachelor‚Äôs degree in Communications from Boston University. Chris became a Falmouth resident in 2003.
Chris has worked in the insurance and long-term care industries for over 15 years.¬† His early career included senior positions for multiple political campaigns before working in 1993 and 1994 for both the White House transition office and Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell on Capitol Hill. Later, he worked in Washington, D.C., representing the health and life insurance industry as Vice President and Senior Vice President for the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA) and the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI).¬† In 1999, he was awarded the Robert R. Neal Medal by HIAA for distinction and service to the industry.¬†
Chris co-founded and is CEO of Life Care Funding Group.¬† A national expert on insurance and long-term care issues, Chris is a frequent speaker, featured columnist, and Contributing Editor to a number of industry publications.
Chris is married to Grace and they have four sons attending Falmouth schools.
